I am an Ironman U Certified Coach with a Master’s degree in Sports Therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science and Medicine. I am an Accredited Strength & Conditioning Coach through the UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA). With over 16 years of experience coaching and treating professional, semi-professional, and amateur athletes, I specialise in sports therapy, rehabilitation, and performance optimisation. Currently, I work part-time as a Senior Lecturer in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, UK. Alongside this, I run a performance clinic in Cambridge, where I work with triathletes and endurance athletes. I am also involved with Superleague Netball in London and serve as a contractor for the England Netball team, providing strength and conditioning services.
My coaching philosophy is built on three key principles: injury prevention, enjoying the journey, and individualised programming. Sustainable progress comes from smart training, not just hard training. I prioritise structured load management, strength training, and recovery strategies to keep athletes healthy and consistent. Triathlon training is a long-term commitment, and the process should be as rewarding as race day. I focus on fostering a positive training experience where athletes stay motivated, engaged, and confident in their progress. Every athlete is unique, with different strengths, weaknesses, and schedules. I design highly individualised training plans, balancing performance goals with lifestyle demands to optimise results without unnecessary stress. Ultimately, my goal is to guide athletes toward race day feeling strong, prepared, and excited, knowing they’ve trained smart and enjoyed the journey along the way.

I have always been involved in sports, competing in swimming at the national level in my junior years. Later, I transitioned into running and martial arts, where I unfortunately tore my ACL, delaying my competitive sporting activities for some time. Now, as an age-group triathlete, I enjoy the competitiveness and challenges of the sport. I have completed: • Olympic distance triathlons • Several 70.3 (Half Ironman) races • A full-distance Ironman
I have worked with some of the UK’s top sports teams and elite athletes, including: • GB Athletics • GB Duathlon • London 2012 Paralympic Wheelchair Tennis team • GB Squash • Scotland Women's Rugby • England’s Visually Impaired Football players • Professional tennis players Through this experience, I have developed expertise in training, injury prevention, and rehabilitation for elite athletes across various sports.
