About Me

I am the head coach and owner of Strong2thefinishline Tri Club located in the Seattle area, Washington. My love for triathlon is the biggest reason as to why I chose to coach this amazing sport. I am also a triathlete and I continue to train and race just like you. I can relate to your ups and downs, life and work pressures, family obligations, financial or social stressors, and the lack of available time to train. That's how I am able to create this magic with your help and with your desire to become an IRONMAN. My educational background in anatomy and kinesiology gives me an advantage that translates to helping and advancing my athletes, allowing me to create uniquely specified plans tailored to each individual's abilities and goals while simultaneously considering injury prevention and long-term health. As triathlon coach, I custom designs each athlete's training plan from scratch to accommodate their unique life-style, work hours, family circumstances, and most important of all, their physical capabilities, areas of improvement, and dream goals! Our triathlon team in the Seattle, WA area encompasses athletes from Seattle, Kirkland , Sammamish, Issaquah, Redmond, Woodinville, and many of the surrounding areas. We offer our training indoors and outdoors year/round and your unique training plan is delivered in a state of the art app at your fingertips. Many of my triathletes (some started from scratch without swimming or cycling backgrounds) and I have established a very unique community in Strong2thefinishline Tri Club in the Seattle area where athletes get to train as a team. I have also established a decent experience in coaching a lot of athletes around the globe virtually through a well established system that gives my distant athletes a continuous access to my coaching program and to me directly. If you are not in the same town, you will still feel the focused attention given to you to make you conquer your race and build a great foundation as a triathlete. If you are looking for a triathlon coach in the Seattle area or anywhere in the globe, we can help you. Coaching Philosophy: Triathlon training and racing is challenging. Philosophy

My Philosophy and approach: Triathlon training and racing is challenging. My approach to coaching and racing stems from my belief in the human spirits ability to conquer obstacles and difficulties no matter how hard. I can sum up my coaching philosophy and a approach in a few words: - Dream big. With hard work, consistency and perseverance, you will accomplish your goals. - You have to work. I will show you the path and the fastest and safest way to the top of the mountain, but you have to climb it yourself. - Be ready mentally, emotionally, and practically. If you don't have enough hours to train and prepare, it will not work. - Be prepared to be tried and tested. IRONMAN distances are a serious endeavor. - Work hard, you may fail. Work harder, you may succeed. Work hardest, and you are on your way to making special memories that would last for a lifetime! - Be humble and true to yourself. - Be a team player. Triathlon is a lonely pursuit, however, coach and athlete(s) should be a team. - Believe in the process and the training plan. - Be open-minded and willing to learn . - Advancement and improvement can only come with training at a higher level. You will be pushed and you will be tested. Prepare to be pushed. - Recovery is an integral part of training and it should be treated as such. - Set goals that are SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely. - GRIND stands for: Get Ready It's a New Day. We get up and execute the training no matter how hard. - Mental toughness is far more greater to attain than physical toughness. - I believe in Team work, Team spirit, and cheering for your fellow teammates. They would do the same for you. I commit to giving you 100% of my time, knowledge, experience, encouragement, and guidance. The rest is up to you!
